Description
Nothing more about this piece of TK can insignia other than VERY RARE! This is a textbook horizontal RZM pattern vertical Waffen-SS Totenkopf embroidered collar tab produced in bullion with left facing skull, as worn by Officers. This example is in good, as found condition showing age to the skull but is otherwise perfect, the tab shows clears signs of being period worn and removed from a uniform. The front has a small nip t the wool, but overall is very solid and displayable. The reverse still has the paper RZM tag still attached, just a wonderful piece of insignia here with great character!
Note – in regards to SS-TK insignia, the left facing skulls are typically encountered on vertical tabs, to find one on a horizontal tab is very rare, this would have been used for a very short period of time before regulations changed them to right facing.
