Description

Very nice example of a U.S. WWII M1 Garand 10 inch Bayonet produced by Union Fork and Hoe. This example has no major damage, the blade has never been sharpened and the finish is rather full still. The blade is marked UFH near the tang for Union Fork and Hoe Co., and the date of 1943. This would be perfect for a mannequin display, or simply adding to a display case!

Note – UFH had a large number of forged blanks for the M1905 on hand when the order to convert production to the M1 was issued. This blanks had the fuller groove basically forged in, but were not milled to full depth. UFH cut the blanks to the proper length to make the 10 inch blade M1, and finished the fuller to M1 length, leaving the remaining portion shallow.
