Description
Very nice matched set of Waffen-SS visor cap insignia that has been together since the war. Consisting of a zinc eagle marked RZM 155/42 for the firm Assmann & Sohne, and a totenkopf ‘skull’ marked RZM M1/52 for the firm Deschler & Sohn, München. Both the skull and eagle are textbook examples, it is interesting to note that both are missing a prong from each side as the other, indicating they were crudely removed from a cap. Very hard to find matched sets of SS cap insignia that have not been married to one another over time!
