Knights cross of the War Merit Cross by Deschler & Sohn, München. Massive silver construction with ribbon loop. Marked on the bottom of the lower arm with the PK code of Deschler “1” and the silver content mark “900”. Fantastic condition with remarkable finish. No repairs, no damage and the cross comes with its original, full length and correct Deschler issue neck ribbon. This is one of the nicest examples I have seen, outstanding piece with incredible finish and textbook construction!
Note – A total of 118 awards of the Knights Cross of the War Merit Cross with swords, and 137 awards of the Knights Cross of the War Merit Cross without swords were awarded.
