Categories: ,

Here we have a fantastic pre-war decorated service blouse for an NCO with the rank of Unteroffizier in Heer (Army) Cavalry Regiment 15. Made of high quality trikot wool and lined in light grey polished cotton, with integral provision for wear with sword. The blouse has two upper pleated patch pockets and two lower slash pockets, front closure is piped in golden-yellow wool, padded metallic silver litzen collar patches are machine sewn to yellow wool bases. The upper edges of the collar have hand applied metallic rank NCO tress, the sewn in shoulder boards are piped in yellow wool, each has the numerals 15 chain stitched and machine applied metallic NCO tress to match the collar. The shoulder board buttons have the numeral 7, the national emblem is a beautiful bullion Officer quality eagle on dark green backing and is originally hand sewn. The left breast pocket has loops for one award and the buttons are the finished silver type and overall the blouse is very clean, one button has been re-sewn where the belt is worn which is very common. Inside lining is a bit yellowed from wear, but for an early set like this it is very clean. These early piped walking out sets are harder and harder to find every year.
