This Afrika Campaign Medal is a one looker textbook example, which is uncommon as most that pop up are reproductions. One of the most desirable campaign awards of the Third Reich time period. It shows clear signs of period wear which is common to see as most would stitch them directly to their field blouse upon earning the award. Has a great, old, uncleansed patina, with a couple of spots of light verdigris that would easily clean up. Both sides show undisturbed sharp detail. This fantastic award is complete with the original ribbon, tons of character with the ribbon. The ribbon shows typical field age toning and fading of the original color.
