Description
This is a very rare and uncommon example of the General Assault Badge by Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid. With early tombac construction, this hollow-back badge still even retains a great amount of it’s original finish. Tho unmarked, this is without a doubt an early war product by the Deumer company. Overall this badge is in great contrition, with no repairs or damage to the hardware on the reverse. The earliest of Third Reich awards were made with tombac material, to find a GAB alone is rather uncommon, one by the Deumer firm almost never happens!
