Description

Stellar Heer (Army) M43 uniform, heavily retailored in “walking out” style, the inside is factory marked with size measurements and the manufacture date of 1944. Breast eagle originally machine sewn to the uniform is a very uncommon/hard to find embroidered uniform eagle produced in late 1944. Pockets were even moved and redone with false pleats. The collar was redone in the bottle green M36 style, the litzen obviously not factory applied but of course would have been tailor done when the collar was done. This is a perfect example of later period uniforms put together from old service tunics. The uniform has no tress on the collar or shoulderboards, the left sleeve has a rank chevron with 2 rows of tress indicating the rank of Obergefreiter (Lance Corporal.) The button hole shows the EK2 ribbon, and the right breast pockets shows loops for 2 awards on the pocket, a true combat veteran! The white piping on the shoulderboards indicates service in an Infantry Division. Hands down one of the most heavily modified and unique examples of a German Army uniform I have ever had the privilege of owning, great piece.
