Description
One of the best pieces of insignia I have found in awhile is this rare Luftwaffe Fallschirmjäger (Paratrooper) Smock Eagle “Cut-Off.” The factory sewn eagle is still attached to the Splinter B pattern camouflage material the jump smock was made of. This is not a post war created piece, the eagle is still sewn in the correct zig-zag pattern and even has overlapping material still laying over the top in one section. These cut-off pieces of insignia were typically done quickly on the battlefield by U.S veterans, great looking set!
