Description
Very rare single shoulderboard for an SS-Obersturmführer (Lieutenant) in an Infantry regiment in the 1st SS Panzer Division ‘Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler’. This strap shows clear signs of being worn during the period and later removed from the uniform, the black base wool with white woven braid indicating service in the infantry. The board shows one gold rank pip above the very rare gold “Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler” (LAH) cipher. This cipher is produced in cupal and everything is exactly like one would like to see. Very rare piece of SS insignia here, in my opinion one of the rarest shoulderboard combinations one can find!
