Very nice and well worn example of a K98 bayonet frog. This late-war construction example in black leather is marked with the RBNr number on the reverse. Tho it is in a nice worn condition, the leather is still supple and would accept a bayonet very easily. The securing loop has been removed which was a common practice with combat troops.
