Description
Stellar example of an early period 1939 Iron Cross 1st Class (EK1) in the original case of issue. The box is in perfect shape with no damage at all. The cross has a beautiful sharp rim highlights and a perfect black painted core. The reverse of the cross shows textbook hardware with no damage or repairs to the catch or pin set up. The pin is marked with the number “15” indicating the manufacturing company of (Friedrich Orth, Wien)
