Description
Anything U.S. Naval marked aviation related item is hard to come by. This stellar example of a flight helmet is overall in fantastic condition with supple leather and a sharp “U.S.N.” mark in the leather on the rear of the cap. These would have been worn by Navy/Marine Corps pilots and flight crew members. The helmet is a model “AN6540 ” produced by Slote and Klein. The helmet is also fitted with a pair of Polaroid Model 1021 goggles with the dark adaption red lens. The head set with original cords are also attached. Overall a fantastic WWII pilot set up that displays very well!
