Very rare uniform removed example of a period worn Gauleitung (Gau) Level collar tab for the rank of Dienstleiter (Service Leader.) This was a very high rank of the NSDAP party, this is their embroidered version of their collar insignia. This excellent example displays the state eagle above the three oak leaves, on a red velvet background rimmed with wine red waffenfarbe, with a buckram core. The reverse of the tab displays the NSDAP RZM tag as well. This is an amazing piece of insignia, to have one of this quality just does not pop up often!
