Fantastic set here, this NSDAP flag is a 2 piece design, consisting of a white and black swastika roundel machine sewn to a red cotton flag. This flag is a perfect displayable size of 29.5″ wide by 19″ tall. The flag has a few small stains, but has very bright, vibrant colors. The left corner has a small section missing. The killer factor about this flag is it was found with the original capture papers required to bring home by the U.S. Veteran, with some research we found Cpl. Oscar E. Kalb #35044808, 638th Tank Destroyer Battalion, Company “B”. This paper has the date of March 27th, 1945. This would be after their participation in the Battle of the Bulge, and shortly before the 638th would cross the Rhine River. Fantastic flag with rock solid veteran history, they would be fantastic framed up together!
