Nice matching bayonet marked (E.u.F. Hörster 1938) indicating production by E.u.F. Hörster, Solingen in 1938. The bayonet is matching to its scabbard with the serial 7700c and has nice clean bakelite grips. The bayonet is in a good uncleaned/unsharpened and is matching condition with almost 95% of its factory blueing remaining. Note that a small tip of the blade is lightly worn, otherwise perfect condition! The scabbard has no major dents, and though it is torn on the holding hole, it still has the original 1940 dated frog. A fantastic untouched k98 bayonet which is becoming harder and harder to find these days.
