Luftwaffe Ground Assault Badge – (Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid)

Categories: ,

Very frosty ‘Erdkampfabzeichen’ – Luftwaffe Ground Assault Badge (LGAB) as produced by the firm Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid “FLL.” Produced mid to late war in zinc, the front single riveted tombac eagle is missing, these missing eagles are often the case with the FLL Luftwaffe GAB variants. Still an uncommon variant with fantastic silver finish remaining. The reverse hardware is undamaged and without any repairs.

Note – The Ground Assault Badge of the Luftwaffe (Erdkampfabzeichen der Luftwaffein German) was a World War II German military decoration instituted on 31 March 1942 by commander-in-chief Hermann Göring and awarded for achievement in ground combat.
