Stellar example of an early NSDAP Flag, (this was the national flag of Germany from 1935-1945.) This is a textbook original example, in a desirable displayable size. It measures 45.5 inches x 29 inches, making this very displayable. It’s double sided, the body of the flag is made of a tightly woven red fabric that is very typical on flags from this era. Each side has a machine applied white rounded disc, with a large black separate sewn pieces to make the swastikas. The flag is obviously used but the red color remains bold. There is some minor soiling, as well as typical age toning to the white roundels. This German NSDAP Flag remains a very solid and visibly striking example of this desirable and classic wartime souvenir.
