Early 1938 Dated M31 Zeltbahn w/ Luftwaffe Regiment Marking

The M31 zeltbahn was a camouflaged piece of cloth used as a rain poncho or as a shelter when combined with other zelts. The material used called “makostoff” has a rolled on or printed camouflage pattern, this 2 sided version of camouflage on this example is called “Splittertarnmuster.” This early version has aluminum buttons and eyelets and rope remaining in the holes. This zelt is maker marked/dated 1938, (LBA) marked, as well as stamped with a Luftwaffe regimental marking, rather uncommon to find! There is no major damage or repairs to this beautiful, vibrant example.
