The “Der Deutsche Automobil Club” (D.D.A.C.) was the only authorized automobile club in Germany during the Third Reich. It provided roadside assistance to members and was closely affiliated with the N.S.K.K. This D.D.A.C. car pennant is double-sided. Each side has a D.D.A.C. embroidered emblem, featuring the German national eagle and swastika. This woven emblem is affixed to a white pennant that is marked with chain stitched red strips, outlined by a black chain stitched border. The pennant shows some age marks and the usual staining, overall still in great shape with the original rings, one having the original clip. This is the earlier type, later on they would produce these in a lower quality with printed stripes.
