When it comes to combat jackets and blouses, the ones that show they have been there really speak to us. This M41 Jacket short for (Model 1941) is textbook in every way. The Talon zipper and all buttons function, there is a name on the collar as well as rank patches for Technician Fifth Grade (Tech Corporal.) The left shoulder shows the early 1st Army Patch. The 1st Army played a key roll in the D-Day Invasion with planning and transportation/medical units. This jacket has splatter and staining on the front and cuffs which would indicate blood staining. A truly remarkable example of a combat worn M41 jacket!
