1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class (EK2) w/ Packet – “23” Maria Schenkl

Categories: ,

Very interesting set to find in this type of packet, typically “23” marked crosses are considered to be made by Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Heeresbedarf in der Graveur- und Ziselierinnung. This example was pulled directly from the wood work, other than light patina on the silver edges, this cross is stone mint. There is no damage or missing paint to the center core, the full length ribbon is uncut and with bright vibrant colors, the original paper packet is also included, the packet is also marked by the manufacture of Maria Schenkl , Wein. Possibly this could shed more light into who all was the manufactures of the “23” marked Iron Cross 2nd Class.
